ABOUT US

Himachal Pradesh State Pharmacy Council (HPSPC) is a statutory body constituted by the Government of Himachal Pradesh under the provisions of the Pharmacy Act of 1948. The prime responsibility of the HPSPC is to grant registration to the eligible pharmacists and issue Registration certificate to the persons possessing requisite prescribed qualification as per the provisions of section 32(2) of the Pharmacy Act and to enforce the necessary provisions of the Pharmacy Act 1948.With the following major objectives, the HPSPC is committed to uplift the profession of pharmacy in the state of Himachal Pradesh. OBJECTIVES OF HPSPC

Regulate the profession and practice of pharmacy
Remain a single point access to all the services HSPC and provide an uninterrupted quality service for pharmacists across the state of pharmacy
Ensure high quality of drug dispensing through quality training and knowledge upbringing of pharmacists across the state
Appoint part-time pharmacy inspectors to ensure that all the provisions of the Pharmacy Act, 1948 are respected and followed
Combating unethical and illegal practices that disrupt the ethics of pharmacy profession
Conduct seminars, workshops and public meetings to highlight the role of pharmacists in healthcare system
